I too wish English had some crazy accents or random dots over vowels so we could seem more artistic and sophisticated.Meh.
Currently listening to: Emancipator- with rainy eyes, good music to play in the background while you're trying to work, or while you're procrastinating and posting pointless blogs.

Cool concept.Don't you love it when techno/trance blatantly takes classics and makes them "dance-able?"- American Pie- Global Deejays
So, I was considering purchasing either Canon's 50mm f/1.4 USM lens or the 50mm f/1.2 L series lens ("L" series lenses always are the best in terms of physical build and quality, making the latter that much more tempting), until I saw the price. The 50mm f/1.4 USM runs 325 dollars on B&H, not bad. The Canon 50mm f/1.2 L lens is a staggering...get ready for it... $1,400 ! According to reviews I read, the 50mm f/1.4 is much more pratical and worth the value, while the f/1.2 is very, VERY good and extremeley fast at open aperatures, but not as amazing as would be expected at higher aperatures. The money basically made the decision for me... I think I'll go with the f/1.4.
Currently the fund rests at 280 dollars, but it's also my birthday soon... :). I'm thinking to wait and purchase the lens until the summer, when I'll probably (hopefully) have a job, and when I'll get more use out of it. I also want a neutral gradient density filter, which runs around 60 bucks.
I also don't make any money out of photography and probably should be content with the gear I have, but I know that's not going to happen.
